Description
Sheep Hill Lookout lies deep within the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. From the summit once can see portions of the Payette and Bitterroot National Forests, as well as the Nez Perce. The current R-6 flattop on a 7’ concrete base was built in 1960, replacing a log cupola cabin dating to 1928. It remains in active service.
