Description
Thunderbolt Mountain has hosted a lookout point since 1917. First a camp, then in 1933 a D-6 Plan cupola structure was built.
The current lookout is a Region 6 Plan Flat Cab built in 1962 or 1965.
Thunderbolt Mountain is generally staffed during the fire season.
