Description
Built by the CCC camp at Martin State Forest in 1932, the 100’ Willow Valley Fire Tower was once part of a network that overlooked the forested hills of southern Indiana. Removed from active service in 1976, it is still maintained as an emergency lookout and is mainly used as a viewpoint by the public. There in an observation deck two-thirds of the way up.
