Description
The third of four towers built in Essex County in 1924, Andover Fire Tower was replaced in 1970. The 68' steel tower with a 10'x10' wooden cab is operated by the Bureau of Fire Control of the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. All of this group of fire towers in Massachusetts are in active service.
