Description
Better known as Aggie, Mt. Agamenticus was the site of a 24 fire tower built in 1918. It was replaced by a 47' tower in 1934 which in turn was replaced by the current 65' tower in 1981 with a catwalk added in 1985. Three states can be seen from the structure which remains active and is staffed by the Town of York Fire Department.
