Description
Built by the CCC and the Minnesota Division of Forestry in 1934 to oversee an area of high fire danger, Badoura Lookout Tower was staffed until 1979 when it was replaced by air detection. The 100’ Aermotor tower with a 7’x7’ metal cab is still used as a radio antenna and emergency lookout by personnel from the nearby Badoura Forest Nursery.
