Description
Lookout Mountain Lookout on the Bitterroot National Forest is a relative newcomer, having been moved to its current site in 1974, after having been built at Antrim Point only five years earlier. It is an R-6 flattop with catwalk on a 10’ concrete base. Overlooking the upper end of the West Fork of the Bitterroot River, the lookout is regularly staffed during the fire season.
