Description
Long a landmark on the Appalachian Trail, the Shuckstack Fire Tower was constructed by the PWA and the NPS in 1934. It is a 60’ steel Aermotor tower with a 7’x7’ metal cab. Reached by three trails, it is a popular hiker destination.
