Description
Located in Allegany County in the Southern Tier of New York, the privately owned Alma Hill Fire Tower is an 80' tall Aermotor LS40 that was erected in 1950. The tower was officially closed in 1971. It was offered through public auction in 1973 and was purchased by the owner of the property where the tower stood. It remains standing today on that private property and is closed to the public.
