Description
The current 30-feet steel live-in tower at Bone Point is the fourth tower at this location. It remains for emergency use and was last staffed in 2003 for a brief period of lightning storms.
Prior towers at this site include a cupola cabin used in the 1920s, a 40-foot wood live-in tower in the 1930s, and a 30-foot steel live-in tower built in 1947.
