Description
Buckhorn Mountain is a standard US Forest Service L-4 ground cabin and catwalk on short stone aggregate piers.
The lookout cab from the Fairchild tower was lowered and moved to the Buckhorn Mountain site in 1952. Original date of construction is unknown.
