Description
Wildhorse Lookout on the Siskiyou National Forest is occasionally staffed by either the USFS or the Coos Forest Protective Ass’n. Built in 1947, it is a new model L-4 with catwalk on a 40’ treated timber tower. Earlier structures on the site were an L-4 on a 40’ pole in 1935 and an Aircraft Warning Service house during World War II.
