Description

Located on one of the most picturesque sites, Shriner Peak Lookout has a stunning view of Mount Rainier. The two-story wooden frame structure with 14’x 14’ cab and catwalk is representative of a standard National Park Service design of the 1930s. The oldest of four lookouts remaining in the Park, it has been restored following the original plans. It is still used in critical fire weather.
