Description
This 82-foot Wisconsin standard tower features an external cage protected ladder and was built in the early 1930s. National Geodetic Survey notes from 1934 indicate a fire tower was in place at this site by that time. Twin Mound tower was staffed intermittently during spring fire season until 2015 when Wisconsin decommissioned its lookout network.
