Description
Standing on the south knob of the Pawtuckaway Mountain within a state park, this was the first steel lookout tower built in N.H. The station was established in 1913 and the 25' tower erected in 1914. It was modified in 1930 and raised 10' in 1971, with a new cab installed in 1976. It is in active service.
